The LEARN Grant
Why do we LEARN?
The purpose of this grant is to support activities that will enhance Harvard College students’ engagement with and understanding of education as a field of study. For event funding, all student organizations registered with the Dean of Students Office may apply. For individual student research projects, only students declared for the Secondary Field in Educational Studies may apply.
The Fine Print:
- A maximum of $750 will be given out per accepted application.
- We will accept no more than four (4) applications per year.
- This grant cannot be used to reimburse individual travel expenses or conference attendance. However, it can be utilized for group field trips and educational experiences.
Applications will open for the last two (2) weeks of September, November, and February. Applications submitted during these times will be reviewed during the first two weeks of the following month, and decisions will be announced at the end of that review period. The grant will be closed at all other times.
Conditions for Grant Recipients
- All grants must be used by May 31 of the current academic year (AY).
- In order to be reimbursed for expenses, receipts must be submitted within 10 days of purchase.
- All publicity for events must acknowledge support from EdSecondary, and any publicity for research projects should do the same when applicable.
