Vanessa Iwuoha

Vanessa is a junior concentrating in Economics with a Secondary in Educational Studies. She is from Newark, NJ and lives in Eliot House. Vanessa’s passion for education originates from her personal experiences with education inequality. She is especially passionate about using place-based collaboration action work to repair the impact of neighborhoods on children’s outcomes. At Harvard, she serves as a mentor for the Radcliffe Emerging Leaders Program, Director of Advocacy for the Harvard Undergraduate Association (HUA), and Harvard WorldMUN Committee of Social Development Chair. In her free time, she enjoys ceramic classes in Allston.
