Colby Meeks
Colby Meeks is a senior in Eliot House concentrating in English with a secondary field in Educational Studies. He is from Alabama, and seeing the realities of his K-12 education in Title I schools and, later, the disparities between his own K-12 experience and that of his peers at Harvard led him to an interest in education. He cares deeply about educational equity and the pedagogical practices of English classrooms, and hopes to one day work at the intersection of education and poetry. He can often be found in the Eliot dining hall, the Woodberry Poetry Room, or at The Harvard Advocate, where he previously served as Poetry Editor.
