Mallory Rogers is a junior from Rome, Georgia living in Kirkland House. Mallory is passionate about increasing equity and opportunities in education. Her mom and aunt, both public school teachers, encouraged Mallory to value education from a young age. Since Kindergarten, she has dreamed of teaching in a classroom and this summer she had the opportunity when she directed Junior Leaders in Communities, an enrichment program for fourteen-year-olds. Mallory currently serves as the Director of Mentoring for Harvard Model Congress as well as the Director of Operations for the Y2Y shelter. Outside of school, Mallory enjoys biking and singing with the Radcliffe Choral Society. She hopes to pursue a career in math education and continue working in unhoused communities.
