Nena King is originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, about a 40 minute drive from Harvard. She is a junior in Kirkland House studying Economics with a secondary in Educational Studies, and working toward a language citation in American Sign Language. At Harvard, Nena is a sports broadcaster at WHRB and a member of the station’s finance team. Growing up, her mom had a daycare on the first floor of their house, which is what originally got her interested in wanting to teach. In the future, she wants to go back to her community and build a financial literacy program, as well as work with charter schools and their policies.
