Marco Joven Domínguez
Marco Joven Domínguez is a senior from the San Fernando Valley, California, living in Kirkland House. He is studying Philosophy, with a secondary field in Educational Studies. Marco’s experiences with educational injustice in LAUSD schools triggered his interests in education and education policy supporting the needs of first-generation, low-income students of color in Los Angeles and beyond. At Harvard, Marco is an on-air DJ for WHRB 95.3 FM — Harvard Radio Broadcasting; a student ambassador at the Harvard Graduate School of Education; and an executive board member of Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA. In his spare time, Marco enjoys long walks, curating alternative playlists, sightseeing, and quality time of any kind. Marco fulfilled his Capstone Project requirement through an internship he completed with Vía Educación in Mexico City, Mexico through David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies.
