Lauren is a senior joint concentrating in Physics and Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies with a secondary in Educational Studies. They are from Honolulu, HI, and live in Pforzheimer House. Lauren aspires to become a high school physics teacher and is passionate about equity in STEM education, particularly pertaining to the needs of girls in the hard sciences. This interest stems from their experience teaching 9th-grade physics at Breakthrough Collaborative in Somerville, MA. Outside of academics, Lauren enjoys many outdoor activities, such as skateboarding, climbing, surfing, and leading FOP.
