Cassie is a senior at the College studying Psychology with a secondary in Educational Studies. While she is currently a proud resident of Mather House, she grew up in Laconia, New Hampshire. Her experience as a student in her hometown’s public school district has shaped her interests in education, motivating her to become an elementary school teacher and, at a later time, a school administrator. She hopes that, as a teacher and an administrator, she can create real change for her future students, inspiring and encouraging them to pursue their academic and professional passions. She also aspires to improve teacher retention rates (at least within her chosen school and/or district) and motivate more of her current peers and future students to consider a career in education. Aside from following her passions as a future educator, Cassie spends her free time reading, trying new foods, planning HoCo events, and spending time with her friends!
